About
A clean, spacious hostel with a standout kitchen (oven, ice-cube fridge, and everything you'd want to cook), AC dorms, and an upper deck for working, yoga, or just chilling, plus bikes and two dogs and a cat. The owner is friendly and happy to help plan your days. It's not a party or especially social hostel and sits a bit far from the beach on the main road—easy with a bike or car.

Average hostel experience, it is by no means a social hostel. But if you need a place to stay for a night or two in Uvita then it will get the job done. Only area with AC is in the dormitory, the bathroom and common areas are semi outside. So you sweat a lot, Uvita gets extremely hot and humid. The location is a bit farther from the beach and where people hang out, so if that’s important to you then this may not be the best hostel for you. The owner is a really friendly guy who is more than willing to help you plan things to do in Uvita.
Amazing hostel, probably the best I’ve ever stayed at! The bunkhouse where you sleep is very comfortable and really spacious, super clean spaces in general. Very friendly staff and nice activities to do all together. The kitchen is also super well-furnished and the supermarket is just a 5 min walk. They also have 2 sweet dogs and one cute cat, they’re adorable! The upper deck is amazing to work, do yoga or just chill! One of the shower has hot water too! The only downside is the location, a but far from the beach and on the main road, but if you rent a bike or have a car it won’t be a problem. Uvita beach is gorgeous!
It’s been such a great stay and volunteering at Shipwrecked. The owners are super welcoming and friendly and tried to make sure everyone feels comfortable at their space. The kitchen is super spacious and well equipped, from oven to ice cube fridge is everything there you need. The dorms are also very sweet and with ac, I myself was staying in the volunteer house and had a great sleep and my own space there. They also had bikes available, that i could use to get to the beach.
