Típica Soda La Fiore de la Bahía

We came in during rain and were very hungry :) we got local casadas and rice dishes and pasta, all portions were huge and tasty, the fish was fresh and delicious and everything else too! Loved the meal and enjoyed the quiet (maybe due to rain) and the hospitality :)

During our stay in Uvita in December, we ended up coming here three times. Once for breakfast and twice for lunch. That alone says a lot. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. We had gallo pinto, rice with shrimp, and especially the pickled onions, which were incredibly tasty with a really nice spicy kick. And I have to mention the passion fruit juice with ice. I ordered it twice, and wow, it was amazing. Honestly, it’s hard to find juice like that back home in Germany. So fresh, so flavorful. The service was very warm and friendly. Even though our Spanish is limited, we communicated perfectly well and felt very welcome. If you want food that is good, affordable, and truly authentic while in Costa Rica, this is the place to go. Great place for a cheap and authentic meal. They take forever to cook the food, no staff here speak English. It is more of a local spot.
