My experience at TRU Yoga School was truly transformational. From the moment I arrived, I felt held in a space of integrity, depth, and genuine care. The teachers embody what they teach, grounded, knowledgeable, and deeply devoted to the yogic path. Which made learning feel both inspiring and embodied rather than purely theoretical. The curriculum is beautifully structured, balancing philosophy, anatomy, asana, meditation, theory, and self-inquiry in a way that feels accessible yet profound. I appreciated how much emphasis was placed on personal growth, self-awareness, and integration, not just “learning to teach,” but truly living yoga. The container TRU Yoga School creates is supportive, inclusive, and empowering. There is space for questions, vulnerability, and authentic expression, which allowed me to grow not only as a practitioner and teacher, but as a human. The community that forms during the training is something really special, soulful, connected, and uplifting. I’m deeply grateful for this experience and would wholeheartedly recommend TRU Yoga School to anyone seeking a yoga teacher training that is rooted in wisdom, heart, and integrity. The practices I learned with TRU Yoga School have transformed the way that I breathe, move and exist in the world. I gained an embodied understanding of the interplay between mind, body and spirit which has transformed my inner landscape and empowered me to face life with increasingly unshakeable confidence. On a very practical level, I gained an enhanced understanding of my nervous system along with practices to help me regulate that system. These have proven invaluable resources to have in my toolbox when facing daily life as a busy mom with young children. The setting of Uvita in Bahía Ballena de Osa is the perfect backdrop for the deeply transformative experiences offered at TRU Yoga School. The powerful experience of the elements in a place where the rainforest meets the ocean creates the perfect seedbed for deep transformation. Zamir, Kristyn and Lalita are the perfect alquemists to make the most of this magical place. The opportunity to learn from Zamir, Lalita and Kristyn is not to be missed. They are a dream team of souls who offer their gifts for the Greater Good of All. They transformed my yoga mat into a portal to Self.

I love deeply all the teachers of TRU Yoga. It is the most profoundly embodied yoga school I have met. I now experience yoga differently, a much more connected and supported way. Their teachings have had an impact on my daily life, reminding to be here, in service and in love. Every time I leave a class I nourished, blessed, reconnected and more open than before.
