Whale Watching Uvita

We had an absolutely amazing day whale watching in Uvita! The crew was friendly and knowledgeable, the boat was comfortable, and we were lucky enough to see so many incredible whales (with a baby whale) and dolphins up close. Our whole family loved every moment, and it’s an experience we’ll never forget. Erika had incredible knowledge about the whales, we learned so much from her, and she also catered us fresh pineapple! l Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area! 🐋

Aka Bahia Balena Kayaks. These guys were amazing. They found a large pod of whales with lots of males competing for a female. The whales were fighting in the water, barging each other and tail slapping, putting on an amazing performance for the cameras! There were a lot of other boats on the water when we reached the whales and it felt like we were a little late to the party but, our crew knew exactly what they were doing! The boats limit the amount of time spent with the whales, so as not to disturb them. Therefore as the earlier arrivals departed we were left as the only boat on the water, alone with the whales. It was an incredible experience and the whales came quite close at times. It was lovely to see that the crew were as excited as us by the display the whales 🐋 were putting on. They had their cameras out too. To add to the experience they also took us to see sea birds, including brown bookies, and to a secluded bay for swimming and fresh fruit snacks. The best boat to book with in Uvita!

Had a great tour whale watching with Carlos and his team. They got us close to seeing whales but also respected nature and kept a safe distance. We got to go snorkelling at a great place. They gave us lots of drinks and fresh fruit. Would definitely go again and highly recommend!
