About
Spacious geodesic domes — cooler and roomier than they look, with AC — sit in a quiet garden with a clean pool and an open shared kitchen that guests treat as the social heart of the place. The women who run it are warmly remembered for making solo travelers and families feel at home and safe, with a little market and school just up the road. Rooms are simple, so come for the setting and the hospitality rather than luxury.

We stayed at Yubata Lodge for a longer period of time, and it was truly the perfect place for that. The location is very peaceful. We stayed in one of the domes. They are more spacious than expected and have air conditioning, which makes it very comfortable even during the day. There is plenty of space, for example to do your own yoga or meditation practice 🧘♀️, lots of sun but also enough shade to relax comfortably. The pool made our stay even more enjoyable. The shared kitchen that everyone can use made us feel especially at home. It created a relaxed atmosphere where it was easy to settle in and feel comfortable. The entire staff was always incredibly kind and friendly, and they really made us feel welcome from the first day. A very special thank you to Cecilia, who was always there for us with such warmth and kindness. Her presence made our stay truly unique and unforgettable. We would absolutely come back ☺️✨
These guys were incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are average and do the job, the price is a little high for the accommodation. However, the people are very accommodating, the kitchen space is great, they are willing to work with you with storage. Just be careful with how much you negotiate on price for storage.
When I stepped into this hostel I immediately felt positive energies. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I loved the garden, the pool is very clean and the open kitchen is great. There’s a little market and a school very close so it feels really safe. The distance to the beaches are also very doable. I can definitely recommend this hostel to solo travelers as well as families!
