Genuinely good Indian food in the remote south of Costa Rica, in Uvita — the bang bang cauliflower gets ordered again and again (even by cauliflower skeptics), alongside chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and coconut curry. They'll tune the spice to your liking, and the hosts are warm and attentive, honoring late requests. A craving-satisfier locals return to.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Zaika. We love spicy food and the stuffed chilli pakora appetizer was delicious. Bang bang cauliflower was so good my husband ate most of it- and he doesn't like cauliflower that much! Highly recommend checking this place out if visiting Uvita!
Excellent Indian food very tasty. Good portions. We had Chicken Tikka Massala, Chicken Korma and Chicken coconut curry with basmati rise and garlic naan bread. Absolutely delicious. Also tried the Mango Mocktail. We'll be coming back!
Omg. How we love this place. Everything is just so wonderful. My personal favorites are: Bang bang cauliflower, the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and the coconut rice. I don’t do much spice and they make it just right! I am a local and we eat here all the time. Twice this week actually. Love you guys. Thank you so much for your deliciousness. 🩷
