About
A Drake Bay tour outfit where Carlos's name shows up in nearly every review. The sunset and bioluminescence trip is the signature: fresh coconuts cut from the palms, sugar cane to try, cold beers at sunset, then swimming through glowing water under a dark starry sky — offered by boat or by kayak. Other outings reviewers describe include snorkeling with turtles along the Corcovado coast, a river swim to a waterfall with macaws and toucans overhead, and inshore fishing where one couple's jack was turned into ceviche at El Bucanero restaurant afterward. Practical tip straight from a reviewer: the website is rough, so drop by Bucaneros restaurant and arrange your tour in person. Open daily 11 AM to 9 PM.

We booked the Sunset & Bioluminescence Tour as a family, and it was absolutely amazing. Carlos and his friend did an outstanding job throughout the experience. Our kids especially loved when they cut fresh coconuts from the palms and prepared sugar cane for us to try. They even brought along cold beers, which we enjoyed while watching the sunset from the boat. Later, swimming in the glowing water under the pitch-black, starry sky felt truly magical. We can without hesitation recommend this tour. If you're interested, it’s best to visit Bucaneros Restaurant and arrange it directly with them, as the website still needs a bit of improvement . Its worth it! :)
Výsledky překladu Today, Carlos from Bucaneros Tour and his boat captain took us on a unique experience a boat trip along the coast of Corcovado National Park. Carlos took us snorkeling with turtles, which was a unique experience, and thanks to his knowledge of the local fauna, flora, and especially the ecosystem, we saw a unique underwater world. Carlos and the captain of the boat were happy to answer all our questions. The tour included refreshments on a beautiful beach in the form of lunch, followed by a trip to a waterfall. What left the biggest impression on us was swimming in the river to the waterfall. About 100 meters through the clear river, with macaws, toucans, and kingfishers flying overhead. The atmosphere of the calm and safe river was a fascinating experience. We were surprised by Carlos' knowledge and the captain's skill in safely maneuvering the boat on the waves of the Pacific Ocean. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience and pura vida. Klára and Michal from the Czech Republic thank you very much.
What an amazing experience! Raul, who also works in a local restaurant, showed us all the beautiful things in Drake Bay :) The sunset on the open sea, the most beautiful beach with its stunning skyline… And the incredible boat trip ended with glowing plankton that you could swim through — absolutely beautiful!
