Cabins on a small river that runs into the ocean, near the Drake Bay airstrip, with a swimming beach close by. Guests rave about the ocean view from the cafe, comfortable beds, strong air conditioning, and good morning coffee. The food gets specific praise — nicely presented plates and handmade tortillas the chef's son, who waits tables, proudly recommends. Reviewers mention hummingbirds and other birds right outside the rooms and a welcoming staff; one couple called it the best place they stayed on their whole Costa Rica trip. Good for kids.

Theye are beautiful cabins on a small river that pours into the ocean. The view from their cafe is BEAUTIFUL of the ocean. Food is exquisite and nicely presented. The young waiter is the chef's son and appears to love his job. He bragged about his Mama's hand made tortillas and he was RIGHT. The following photos are from our balcony in the cabin. Really good beds, the best AC. Great morning coffee.
The best place we stayed during our entire Costa Rica trip. The room was great and we saw hummingbirds and other birds right outside. The staff is super nice and there is a nice beach to swim on right nearby.
The hotel is located right next to the beach, where you can see a multitude of birds. The staff is very welcoming. There's a restaurant right next door where you can also have breakfast.
