About
A trendy, modern café in the center of Drake Bay that reviewers say feels genuine rather than gentrified. The poke bowls and seafood risotto draw specific praise — one diner counted more mussels and shrimp than pasta to eat them with — and the fruit smoothies, like the passion fruit, are described as delicious without being too sweet. Sergio's attentive, patient service comes up again and again. Food arrives fast, the kitchen handles vegetarian and vegan diets well, and travelers note it reliably keeps its posted hours when other spots in town don't.

Awesome place! Great food, drinks, atmosphere and service. Sergio was so attentive and excelled in customer service. After eating here, we didn’t feel the need to go elsewhere, the poke bowls are delicious! Thanks to Sergio for looking after us, we’ll miss Coco Cafe and Drake Bay. This is the place to eat and have a lovely smoothie in Drake Bay, Costa Rica 🇨🇷. Pura Vida 🫶
A trendy, modern cafe in an unlikely small seaside town. The food and service feel genuine and heartfelt, without any of the obnoxious vibes of gentrification. Definitely a nice spot for a relaxed afternoon.
