About
A small family-run boat tour outfit whose guides, Paloma and David, are named in nearly every review. Whale and dolphin trips are the specialty: guests describe close to an hour among humpback whales, hundreds of spinner dolphins riding the bow, several dolphin species in one outing, sea turtles, and a mangrove tour — always, reviewers stress, at a respectful distance and by the rules, something wildlife-minded travelers call out with relief. Paloma's homemade picnics get their own praise, and David has a reputation for spotting a turtle's head from far across the water. Open daily from eight to six; booking by phone or through the website is straightforward.

It was amazing! Paloma and David are super nice and fun! We saw 3 species of dolphins, turtles, a lot of tuna jumping and many birds. And most importantly , with respect to animals!
Fantastic and once in a lifetime experience with the amazing Paloma & David. We truly had the best time and best lifetime experience in Drake Bay from spotting whales with their one month-old baby along the coast to boating offshore to spot spiner, bottlenose, spotted, rough-thoughed and common dolphins and a beautiful mangrove tour while not forgetting the delicious homemade picnics by Paloma.
We had an amazing day with Paloma and David! We still can’t believe how lucky we were to encounter so many spinner dolphins. On the surface it were hundreds of dolphins and below the surface thousands more. Adults, juveniles, baby’s… all looking cool and cute in their own way. They swam at the bow of the boat and gave us a good show. I can really recommend Deep Blue Drake Bay to anyone looking for a great experience in Drake Bay!!!
