A relaxed, family-atmosphere restaurant in Drake Bay whose second floor is the draw: reviewers describe watching a lightning storm roll in over dinner, live music some nights, and great people-watching. Regulars praise generous portions at good prices, cold beers, fresh juices, a spot-on margarita, and solid fish; some travelers came back every single day and even worked from the upstairs tables. One large group did report a chaotic night — long waits, mixed-up orders, and a pizza they didn't like — so pizza may not be the strongest order. Open daily 11am to 9pm.

We came here every single day while here because we loved it so much. The food is delicious, great prices and large portions. And the owners are so kind!!! Everyone here is so friendly, and we loved working up on the second floor. Cannot recommend this place enough.

We had a bad experience - we were a party of 7 of only 12 patrons in the restaurant in total (2 tables). We waited an hour for our food. The waiter was very nice and apologetic however he did not know the menu items when we were ordering, he did not remember what we ordered when he eventually returned with some food. He mixed up the orders from our party with the other party. We ordered drinks and waters, that never came. Two of our meals were completely missing. Everyone was done eating but the last two meals still had not arrived so we got up and paid for what was eaten. The pizza one of the kids ordered tasted horrible. The crust was bitter and tasted like dirty cardboard. And I am not trying to compare their pizza with pizza from other countries. The pizza a few places down (Coco Cafe) was excellent as a comparison. I hope they get their act together by for the near future, please skip and go to Coco Cafe.
