Drake Bay Diving

My bf found this dive shop for us to do our open water Padi certification and we couldn't have come to a better place. The booking process was excellent; communication online was fast and concise. Ivan was our instructor on our first day and Erick was with us on day two and I have nothing but great things to say about both of them. They were very patient and explained everything in clearly and simply. Bonus was another instructor, Wilson, and while we weren't instructed by him, his energy was contagious. All three instructors were fun and a pleasure to be around! The gear is very well taken care of if not brand new. Safety was number one and I always felt that I was in good hands. If ever you find yourself in this part of Costa Rica, definitely check out this dive shop!

We had an amazing experience with Drake Bay Diving! My boyfriend and I both completed diving courses, I did my Open Water certification with Erick. As a first-time diver, I was very nervous, but Erick’s calm, patient teaching style quickly built my confidence. The whole team was fantastic, and we saw white-tip sharks, turtles, and rays. I highly recommend diving with them!

The diving team of Ivan and Eric is absolutely amazing. They are excellent instructors, combining calm patience and professionalism underwater with a relaxed and fun atmosphere once back on the surface. And adding to that, the really friendly rest of the crew along with the stunning dive sites around the Caño Island with all the turtles, sharks and manta rays you can possibly imagine !!
