Very convenient place to grab breakfast before an early tour (it opens pre 5am) or snacks to take out with you - especially the Drake Bay hiking trail as it's at the trailhead. The empanadas are great and only cost 1000 colones.
Second best place to eat in drake bay! Went here every morning for breakfast to get an empanada and one of their sandwiches. Great prices, too.
We (family of 4 with teens) had breakfast here all four mornings we were in Drake Bay. Great hot empanadas, strong coffee and fruit smoothies. Inexpensive and everything was fresh, clean and delicious. Grab your breakfast and sit on the beach and watch the boats come in and out. In 10 years if you ask me what I remember from Drake Bay, Gaby's would definitely be on the list.
