Fauna Lodge

We stayed at Fauna Lodge for four nights and it was one of our best stays in Costa Rica! The grounds are beautiful; there are only four rooms, which makes the whole place feel particularly cosy and homely. From our room, we had a fantastic view of the jungle – it was truly beautiful. Carlos and his family have really created something quite special here. The breakfast was delicious and every evening meal was simply excellent. The transfers and all the communication went very smoothly. I can really only recommend coming here. We had a wonderful four days here, right on the doorstep of Corcovado National Park. An absolutely fantastic hotel and staff! We loved the tranquil location amongst the jungle as well as the beautiful accommodations and facilities. We were surprised by just how intimate a setting the hotel provided with only four rooms and incredibly attentive staff. The meals were outstanding; we definitely recommend taking the dinners here. It was if we were staying at a much higher end, boutique hotel given all the personal touches. Thank you Margot and staff for a wonderful stay!

I spent two nights at Fauna Lodge, a property also owned by Top Trails Corcovado. After completing our two-day hike with the company, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The lodge is set in beautiful, lush primary rainforest, so even while resting by the pool we continued enjoying the incredible wildlife around us. It was a wonderful way to end our Corcovado experience. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, the service was impeccable, and the meals were some of the best we’ve had in Costa Rica. It’s truly a peaceful and relaxing place, right in the middle of the forest.
