Garden of Heliconias lodge

Great little family run bungalows resort. 2 minute walk to the nicest beach on Osa in my opinion (very quiet….there were slightly prettier beaches but they had more rocks/bluffs to deal with or tour boats and traffic stopping for lunches, etc). You can drive yourself (what we did), get a shuttle from Drake, or catch a boat from Sierto (this would be a fun option). David (owner) can walk you through all your options. The breakfast (included with our stay) was simple but good and the dinners were very nice and reasonably priced. There is a soda right next to the property that is also very good and provides a good second option right there. Overall, great lodging option!

Lovely attentive family, great food and beautiful garden. Short walk to the beach and surrounding beaches in both directions. We saw a 3 sloths close by plus a snake and toucans in their garden. The family arranged out transport to and from our other accommodation is worth reaching out to them beforehand on watts app. Photos are all from during this stay. Enjoy 😊

Rooms are quite spartan, but there is no need to spend time indoor other than sleeping. The place is literally a paradise: the garden is very well tended, a beautiful beach is at 1 minute walking, there is a little soda where to have a good dinner, and the owners are great!
