Hidden Paradise Lodge

Hidden Paradise truly lives up to its name. Tucked away in the jungle, it’s beautiful, and feels like a real escape. The family owners are incredibly kind, attentive, and super helpful throughout the stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully detailed. Loved the hammock on the balcony. The pool was a perfect bonus for cooling off in the heat and watching the dragonflies and butterflies. Be prepared, the cicadas are super loud! There’s a short forest trail through the forest from the hotel, when I mentioned that I would like to take it, Jorge leaf-blew it for me right away! Jorge also picked me up and dropped me off when needed as I didn't come by car. A wonderful place to relax and reconnect with nature. Highly recommended. Thank you for everything, Jorge, Mariela, Orlando, and Fabiola! My new extended family!

A true gem near Drake Bay. From the moment we arrived, Orlando and his team made us feel completely at home — warm, professional, and genuinely caring. The vibe was incredible: pure jungle, great energy, and the kind of place that’s hard to leave. We only stayed one night and honestly regret not booking more. An amazing place to stay hidden in the hills above Drakes Bay. The Lodge is lovingly owned and run by a family and nothing is too much bother for them. The cabins are roomy and comfortable, more than adequate after a day’s adventure. The meals are delicious, beautifully prepared and cooked by the Mum and daughters. I thoroughly recommend staying here - you never know, you may just see some spider monkeys swinging through the trees as you take a dip in the pool. A true jungle oasis.
