We had a great stay in Drake Bay and Casa Gitana. The owners, Edith and Jonathan are great and helpful. Because of a medical issue we had to adapt our stay, add an extra night cancel a tour, they arranged everything so that it was possible. We had a snorkeling tour with a pickup close to the hotel and finish at the beach in front of hotel. Gitana Beach is just 2 minutes away and a nice beach almost private, perfect for sunset views as well. They offer breakfast and also lunch and inner, with really good food for reasonable prices. A few kilometers out of town. We would recommend the stay here with no hesitation.

Our stay here was the most pleasent one of our Costa Rica Journey so far. The rooms were clean every single day and we had New towels. The organisation and transportation were always on top of it. Couldnt be more happy! A beautiful garden and there was a track with flowers to the beach. The beach is stunning and pretty private as well. We could see the love in the place how they prepare it and also so the corcovado tour has been amazing. We saw many animals and the guide was friendly and professional.

Edith is the shining star of Hotel Gitana. She was so gracious, helpful, and a wonderful host. Jonathan, Edith’s husband, helped us book all of our tours. He was patient and kind, even though we were very last minute with our planning. Our stay at Hotel Gitana was great. When we return to Bahia Drake, we will be sure to stay here again.
