Small hotel in the center of Agujitas, an easy walk to restaurants, groceries, and beach activities, though reaching the sand means a short hill on a gravel road. Rooms come with air conditioning, and guests mention comfortable beds, cleanliness, and birds landing in the trees outside the windows; one called the garden view from a superior room a treat for bird lovers. There is a pool and breakfast on site, plus a pleasant shared patio. The staff draws consistent praise for going out of their way: extending a stay when the hotel was nearly full, and even shipping a forgotten item to San José after checkout. Water pressure can be low, a common theme in the area.

Had a great 2 nights here. We only reserved 1 night and the reception was so cool about getting another night even though they were pretty full. The room was very comfortable with AC and a good view with plenty of birds landing in nearby trees. It's close to the beach but just be advised you do have to go up a small hill on a gravel road. I saw they had bfast there but we didn't eat there. There was a pool but we didn't use it. I would recommend this place and stay here again.
Jonathan was excellent. Very responsive and helpful. Hotel is central to town, restaurants, groceries, beach activities. Nice pool. Rooms were mostly good with low water pressure the only issue, but that has been the case everywhere in Costa Rica.
Great stay, with very welcoming and friendly staff and particularly helpful when I left something behind .They went above and beyond and arranged for transfer of the item to San Jose.
