La Joyita is a garden gem. Beautifully hand built wooden cabin- totally impervious to critters and well cooled! Hosts are delightful, with thoughtful amenities like kitchen essentials and linens, good coffee too. Beach and freshwater streams coming in make this an exceptional place.
We stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time! Alexis was extremely helpful helping us schedule tours, figuring out our itinerary, scheduling us taxis, and helping us get around town. Easy access to the beach. About 20-25 minute walk into town. It’s on a narrow dusty road, so I’d recommend booking a taxi or having your own transportation. You can hear the road from the cabin, but not many cars drive after dark, so it’s not a problem sleeping.
Awesome place to stay! With great sea views and direct beach access. The cottage has a great garden where the birds enjoy all the lovely trees. The perfect stay for you when visiting Drake Bay (when you look for a relaxed environment, privacy, the sea, ...) . Here, you understand what Pira Vida means.
