About
Part restaurant, part tour desk, part hostel on the airstrip road in Agujitas, with a quiet, spacious dining hall and a view out to the Pacific that reviewers keep mentioning. The whole red snapper is a favorite — one couple called it among the best dishes of their Costa Rica trip — and the smoothies and piña colada get repeat praise, as does the bakery: danishes, cheese rolls, and sweet loaves worth taking to go. Prices are described as more than fair, and the service as genuinely friendly. Open daily 6am to 9pm, breakfast through dinner.

I stumbled upon this restaurant when looking for an early breakfast and discovered they have an amazing patio. Really tasty breakfast and smoothie, but the bakery was phenomenal. I grabbed a danish and cheese roll “para llevar” and came back for some baked sweet loaves before leaving Drake Bay. Everything has been delicious. The guy who works there is an absolute joy. He provided great service and helped me with my horrible Spanish.
Very delicious food combined with excellent service and a nice view! We had the whole fish (red snapper) with different sides and it was probably one of the best dishes we had in Costa Rica! Also the Piña Colada is very tasty! We totally recommend coming here, we even came back the next evening as well.
We had dinner twice and had batidos one morning. We liked the quiet and spacious dining hall and the view. Pescado entero (it was a snapper) was nice. My husband enjoyed his burrito. I enjoyed the side salad, sauteed vegetables and patacones as well. On the other hand, we didn't enjoy their fish fillet in mango sauce. The fish was dry, and in my opinion, the turmeric flavoured mango sauce didn't go well with the fish.
