About
A secluded family-run spot in Los Planes where owners Wilbur and his wife welcome both overnight guests and day visitors for waterfall hikes. Reviewers describe following a stream through the jungle to a swimmable waterfall, with a second, larger one just downstream, and say Wilbur — who speaks excellent English — briefs everyone clearly before the walk. Home-cooked lunches can be arranged, there are hammocks for doing nothing afterward, and returning guests praise the deep quiet of the place. Getting in is an adventure: a 4x4 is required, and you open the gate yourself and follow a dirt track about ten minutes through the forest.

Spent the day here with my boyfriend. Breathtaking hike! Wilbur and his wife own the property and are extremely welcoming. Very secluded and owners value the integrity of their property. Felt like a special and unique experience.
Amazing experience. Wilbur and his wife are very kind and welcoming. Can here and hiked with in for a while and swam in the waterfalls.
If you’re looking for an authentic rainforest adventure with beautiful waterfalls, this is the place to go! To get there, navigate to the road south of the location—look for a sign pointing left to the waterfalls. Open the gate yourself and drive in (4x4 required!). Follow the dirt road, keep left after a few meters, and continue for about 10 minutes through the jungle. The drive itself is already part of the adventure. At the end, you’ll be warmly welcomed by Wilbur, the owner, who speaks excellent English. You can arrange a delicious lunch with him before or after your hike. Wilbur explains everything clearly to ensure a safe and memorable experience. The hike takes you along a secluded stream to a stunning waterfall where you can swim and relax in nature. A bit further downstream, there’s a second, larger waterfall that’s equally breathtaking—perfect for exploring and cooling off. After your hike, enjoy the incredible hospitality of Wilbur and his wife, along with their fantastic home-cooked meals. We stayed for a while just to chat and take in the peaceful surroundings. I 100% recommend this place—Wilbur is honest, passionate, and a great person to talk to. A hidden gem you won’t forget!
