About
Emilio, who grew up in Drake Bay, runs this small tour operation 75 meters east of the school, and his night tour is the thing reviewers cannot stop recommending. Walks cross the family's land and wade a stretch of river — rubber boots provided — and recent groups spotted red-eyed tree frogs, glass frogs, kinkajous, possums with babies, an anteater, and several snakes; tapirs turn up sometimes too. Guides Elber, Wilbur, and Nayer, a trained biologist, draw praise for deep knowledge and patience with young kids. One couple said they saw nearly as much here as on an overnight at Sirena station, with no one else on the trail. Day options include a waterfall-hike-and-tubing combo, and they offer accommodation as well.

We did a night tour and loved it! Emilio was a very knowledgeable guide and showed us so many animals we would have never spotted. Can highly recommend their tours and accommodation.
We had a great stay and Emilio was very knowledgeable during the night tour where we saw many frogs including the Red-eye tree frog and Glass Frog. So many birds come to the property including parakeets and toucans.
Highly recommend the night tour! We booked last minute and were so grateful for this tour. We saw three types of snakes, an anteater, three types of frogs and a possum! We hiked through the woods surrounding their home and through the river. What a great night! Highly recommend! We saw almost just as much here as we did on our overnight tour to Sirena station in Corcovado. They also see tapirs sometimes!
