About
A small family-run seafood restaurant overlooking the boats in Drake Bay, where the menu changes with the day's catch — one reviewer's waiter showed him the whole mackerel and cut it up right on the beach. The garlic butter grilled snapper, seafood-stuffed snapper, jumbo shrimp, patacones, and mojitos all get named, and Carlos, Juan, and Raúl earn shout-outs for warm service. The kitchen is tiny and everything is made to order, so regulars advise settling in with a cocktail and the sunset rather than rushing. Open daily from 5:30am, so it covers breakfast through dinner.

Highly recommend if you are looking for fresh seafood and a place to watch the sunset. Loved the mojito, patacones, and garlic butter grilled snapper! Came back twice for dinner on our trip here. Excellent service and great atmosphere!
We found this incredible seafood restaurant in Drake Bay with a beautiful view overlooking the boats and it quickly became our favorite place to eat during our entire two weeks all over Costa Rica. We loved it so much that we went back a second time and are already planning to return again tomorrow. This is a small family run restaurant with a very small kitchen where everything is made to order. The menu changes based on what they catch fresh that day. Because of that, the food does take some time, but it is absolutely worth the wait. Everything is incredibly fresh and you can taste the care and love that goes into each dish. Just come with patience, relax, enjoy a cocktail, and take in the view. The staff is warm and friendly and made us feel welcome every time. Carlos was our server and he is fantastic. Juan also took care of us and was just as great. The drinks are delicious and perfectly complement the experience. We had the lobster on our first visit and it was amazing. On our second visit we had the red snapper and were so excited to try it. It did not disappoint.
My favorite restaurant I visited during my entire 11 day trip to Costa Rica. The food was all delicious, fresh and perfectly prepared. When I ordered the catch of the day (mackerel). The waiter showed the fish itself to me and took me to the beach where he cut it up. I had to come back for my last meal of the trip and it lived up to the hype a second time. This time I had the seafood stuffed snapper and it was fully loaded with delicious seafood. Even the view from the restaurant is amazing. Especially the second visit when there was a storm off in the distance
