Best Western El Sitio Hotel

Worse Best Western I have ever stayed in. I’m. It expecting a 5 star service in a best western but at least a clean bathroom and cordial service when something is wrong. Found wad of hair stuck to the wall of the bathroom. Around the pool there was so much peacock excrement it was disgusting, had to find a lounge chair that didn’t have bird poop on them, after the 4th set of chairs found one. They have no idea what it means to keep a hotel clean in this place. It is so noisy we could not sleep. The only thing was that acceptable was the proximity to the airport and we had a 6 am flight. Other than that it was a horrible place to stay. Do not recommend it at all. Stay away from this place.

Booked here because of the Best Western brand name (usually good), location (close to airport)and has a Casino. Very disappointed to say the least!!! The hotel in general is very outdated including the rooms, and the bathrooms are even worse. The bathrooms look to be dated in the 1980’s along with only warm running water during a shower.The room itself had poor wifi, noisy ac unit the beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable same as the pillows. On website it shows discount rates for AAA,CAA etc, when I asked they do not offer a discount!!! The breakfast was just your traditional basic foods, limited selection with empty fruit trays at 8:30, anything that was cooked was terrible and over cooked. All platforms, Best Western, Expedia, Booking.com etc don’t have many positive reviews and ALL still indicate this hotel has a casino to come enjoy and chill in!!! The sign out front still says casino, the business cards on the counter still says casino but when I asked where it was the lady at the front desk replied it’s been CLOSED SINCE THE PANDEMIC!!! I responded that was 6 YEARS AGO! her response was yes I know I’m sorry and offered us 2 bottled waters! 6 years of misinformation and deceiving people thinking that it has a Casino is totally unexceptionable.THER HAS BEEN NO effort at all to inform the public. SHAME ON BEST WESTERN AND MANAGEMENT at this location, you should update that info on site and on the entire internet asap. On a positive note the staff were friendly, the pool was ok and the location was close to the airport, that’s it! Would never stay here again!

Beyond imagination. The view is stunning and there's plenty of greenery. Having a hotel like this in the city is truly wonderful and special. There's ample parking outside. The bedrooms are well-equipped, and there's a large swimming pool. Suitable for families with children, good quality, and reasonable price.
