About
The reason to stop is the leche dormida — the sweet, native-Guanacaste 'sleeping milk' from Cañas that regulars call a must, exquisite and unlike anything else. The carrot cake gets its own fans too. A small Liberia café built around one local specialty done right.

Last time I went, the milk tasted kind of sour, I really didn't like it 🫠 The carrot cake is delicious!!! Just that little detail about the milk.
The only redeeming quality of the place is the "leche dormida" (a type of coffee), which is very good. However, the coffee was terrible. It was either cheap coffee with flavoring, or they added the flavoring themselves. I ordered a cappuccino and they brought me a latte that tasted like vanilla and salt—horrible coffee. The pastries are bad, and so is the service.
