About
A gastronomic market in Liberia where a courtyard of vendors and bars shares picnic tables, with live music some nights and a local, family-friendly feel. Reviewers steer you to specific stalls: the Guanacaste típico run by three ladies at the back, the ceviche sampler at El Arrecife, margaritas at the Mexican stall, and Venezuelan food at El Turpial. Craft beer, too.

We really enjoyed our night at this cultural hotspot. The DIY vegetarian casado was delicious and so was the tamarindo drink. I got it at the "comida tipica de Guanacaste" stall at the back, run by three lovely ladies. We appeared* to be the only foreigners sitting at the picnic tables at the time, which was great to experience the local vibe. Shout out to the friendly and efficient bus boy, muchas gracias amigo!
Great local food courtyard with many options and vendors. Simple seating and friendly service. Good craft beer options, too.
A venue with multiple restaurants and bars (sort of like Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, CO without the retail space. Anyway, lots of options, picnic tables all around. The night we went, there was a lovely band. The margaritas at Las Tios Cocina Mexicans are large but refreshing and not overly sweet. The ceviche sampler at El Arrecife is excellent!
