About
A Liberia breakfast institution — the place many travelers hit first thing in-country to get their feet under them. Reviewers order the Costa Rican breakfast (flavorful gallo pinto, sweet plantains, fresh tortillas) with strong, smooth coffee, and note the wifi and fair prices. Portions are large and the staff friendly.

Our go to stop for breakfast when we arrive in country and it does not disapppoint. Plenty of options, good flavors, and strong coffee. It’s a go to for a reason and is a good place to get our feet under us for the day. They have Wi-Fi (a must for the QRcode menu, which would be my only complaint as I hate those things, but also just nice for checking in with the world after flying).
Stopped by Donde Pipe Restaurante y Café and tried the Costa Rican breakfast—wow! The gallo pinto was so flavorful, the plantains were perfectly sweet, and the eggs were cooked just right. Plus, those fresh tortillas? Amazing. The coffee was super smooth and rich. The vibe of the place was cozy, and the staff were super friendly. If you’re craving something authentic and delicious, definitely check this spot out. I’m already planning to go back and try more!
Ordered beef fajitas which were tasty but not the best I've ever had. Service was excellent as the waitress was prompt and polite. Approximate cost of 5000-10000 colones per person for lunch. Positive and fun sayings and artwork on the walls. Parking offstreet for approximately 8 vehicles. Would return but not go out of the way more than once.
