A genuine hostel a short ride outside Liberia, with a pool, table-tennis, communal areas, and a small kitchen by the dorms. Reviewers describe a clean, home-away-from-home feel and a friendly husband-and-wife team who run it. It's out of the center, quiet, with a wholesome local feel and a kids' activity area next door, and worth the trade for the peace.

A really nice place to stay for one or more nights. It is a real hostel, with community areas, pools, table tennis and a small kitchen next to the dorms. You can get drinks there, and order food via über eats. It's more or less quiet at night, sometimes you hear dogs bark but that's it. The owner is really friendly and also speaks some English. We came in without reservation, it was not a problem :)
By far the nicest hostel I've stayed at in Costa Rica. The hostel itself, and pool area is fantastic!! So clean, well organized, humble feel. It's like a home away from home!! The staff are incredibly friendly. The location is a little out of town but soooo worth it for the peace and quiet.
Incredible stay with such lovely staff and a super cool owner. My friend and I stayed here, met some incredible friends - and now traveling with them. Awesome energy, cool layout, chill vibes.
