A great-value Liberia hostel with clean rooms, a central location, and a leafy backyard-kitchen strung with hammocks. Reviewers highlight friendly, helpful staff, free morning coffee, and a resident cat named Salsa who chases his toys like a dog. Some rooms have AC; it's an easy walk to the bus terminals and groceries.

This hostel is a great bang for your buck. Friendly staff, central location, clean rooms and nice communal spaces. The rooms were a little on the warm side but that's to be expected and some rooms do offer AC. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Liberia!
Great hostel! Joseph is very friendly and helpful; location is perfect for seeing the rest of Costa Rica; the backyard/kitchen is cozy with hammocks and trees. Best hostel I've stayed at in CR.
Great location. Clean rooms and comfy bed. Jesus and Joshua were great hosts. Salsa the cat is like a little dog chasing his toys. Will stay again
