Nice place, clean, secured with gate, friendly reception. The pool was nice, too. Great spot for kids. Breakfast was included in our stay, a classic local meal of Pinto Pallo with fried plantain, eggs, fresh fruits, and toast. The only downside is the internet is not great. Our room was also the furthest from reception so our internet connection kept cutting out. We went to the sitting area to make calls and such, which is also fine. All in all, lovely place.

Selected this place for our last night in Costa Rica because it was reasonably close to airport for our early morning departure. When we checked in we were advised about the included breakfast, however our departure was earlier than they opened for breakfast. We asked if we picked up some takeout if the kitchen could keep in the fridge for us till morning, instead, they brought a small fridge and put in our room. Totally awesome. The pool area looked fantastic and we wished we had more time here. They also provided a big jug of ice so we could have a few drinks on our last evening. Nice place and amazing staff. We will stay here again.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. We had reservations for Monday the 22nd but instead they were done for Tuesday the 23rd. When we got there the receptionist said that she needed to make a brand new reservation and that it was going to be for $139 dollars plus taxes for 2 adults a 7 and 12 year old kids. The old price giving was for $108 plus taxes. I told her if she could honor the price and she said no. I went online and made a brand new reservation for Monday the 22nd with Expedia and they charged the correct price of $108 dollars plus taxes. The breakfast that is included was completely disappointing, the eggs the fried sweet plantain and the gallopinto were drenched in oil. The only thing I was satisfied with was the coffee. The rooms are dated. we found a sock from the previous guest on the floor. We saw plenty of empty rooms when we got there we were given room 124 and housekeeping was still putting up towels and cleaning the restrooms. I could have booked the Hampton inn for $139 dollars plus taxes. It would have been a much better choice. Also there is no shuttle to the airport or any service alike.
