About
A small, quiet hotel in the heart of Liberia with gated parking and staff—Harlem among them—who speak great English and go out of their way to help, from storing a cyclist's bags to bringing hot drinks on request. The breakfast wins people over: gallo pinto, eggs, toast, and fresh fruit juice each morning. Rooms are clean and comfortable, on the basic side but well kept.

Very friendly staff, everyone speaks English, the parking lot is gated, breakfast was delightful, the courtyard was beautiful. The room we stayed in was clean and fairly basic but we didn’t need anything fancy for our stay anyway. I would stay here again if I visit Liberia in the future.
I stayed here with my family in August for one week. It's a beautiful small quiet hotel located in the heart of everything, so lots of places nearby. Breakfast was gallo pinto, toast, eggs, and delicious fresh fruit juice every morning with choice of tea/coffee :) Rooms were good, the only thing I would say is that they should add lamps and a kettle if guests want something hot to drink at night, but staff will provide for you if asked. Thank you so much to Keisy and Harlem who are so kind and helpful, and who speak great English! Thanks for letting me practice my Spanish with you two :) This place is cozy, and in one week it became so familiar. I miss you Hotel Javy, and thank you to everyone here for making our stay so amazing! Pura Vida :)
➕ Very kind, warm, polite staff Excellent breakfast Very comfortable beds Room very clean and spacious ➖ Photos don’t match the room Only window blocked with furniture → no natural light No hot water, even after 10 min running (also very wasteful / not eco-friendly) Not eco-friendly setup (single-use soaps, etc.)
