Hotel Villa Hermosa

When you make the effort to know the ones who show you hospitality, you become a family member yourself. I’m from United States, and I can barely string a Spanish sentence together. I used my apps and technology to show I really wanted to communicate and appreciate the establishment I was in. No matter what, the family and staff here take care of you and welcome you in to their humble, clean, and comfortable hotel. You will never regret making a tie to Villa Hermosa in Liberia. (Alma, was my first contact at the hotel and she is a treasure. The family that owns and operates the hotel and shuttle service is amazing. They are a joy and comfort when I visit the outstanding Costa Rica)

Our flight was canceled, and we went into panic mode. My wife found this hotel that had enough beds to sleep five on short notice. Right away, we noticed the difference in how we felt — it felt like home. It was an experience I’m glad my kids got to have on our trip. In less than 15 hours, I left feeling like I was family. I travel for a living, and I’m in hotels four to five times per week. I’ve never experienced such a human connection with any staff as I did at Hermosa. The owner drove us to the airport the next morning before our flight and made us feel so special. It wasn’t the amenities, the location, the food, or anything I can find anywhere. For me, it was the connection — genuine and effortless.

We only stayed at Hotel Villa Hermosa for one night, but it was a memorable one. The room was well appointed with the essentials (hot water, private bathroom, air conditioning unit, fan, small fridge, plenty of storage). The soundproofing however was similar to tent camping haha 🚗 🐓 🐕. I would absolutely return simply because of the people running the hotel. Incredibly friendly and family-oriented. The included breakfast was also delicious! Muchas gracias 🇨🇷
