This was our last full meal in Costa Rica. We ordered the Caribbean seafood soup, fried pork(chicharrón), seafood fried rice, and the mixed ceviche. The server actually reminded us a couple of times that we were ordering way too much — but since it was our last day, we really wanted to try everything. I seriously love Costa Rican food! All the seafood was extremely fresh. I’m obsessed with ceviche, so I pretty much ordered it at every restaurant, and theirs was really good. The fried rice and the soup were packed with ingredients — the soup has a coconut-based broth, which was delicious. The fried pork was a bit salty, but honestly it didn’t stop me from giving them five stars. Portions here are huge, so ordering one dish per person is more than enough. I do hope the restaurant can consider offering smaller portions of certain dishes, like the fried pork or ceviche, so tourists like me who want to try everything won’t have to miss out.

Excellent local restaurant and very convenient! It was really close to the airport and highly recommended. Service was good, and they also provided us with gastronomic tips for our trip. Natural and fresh juices were the top notch and, of course, the patacons (fried green plantains). I would love to come back.

Sr. Patacon was highly recommended by our representative at Enterprise because it’s perfectly located on the way to La Fortuna, just 15 minutes from the Liberia airport. One of the best parts was being able to park right outside on the street, which was very convenient and felt safe. There was plenty of seating when we arrived, and we were tended to right away. We started with the ceviche, and the fajitas here are a bit different—the veggies are sliced really, really thin—but they were tasty. The vibe is very local and authentic, and we had a good time. A perfect, stress-free stop for a meal right after picking up your rental car!
