About
One of Liberia's larger downtown groceries, with wide, well-lit aisles that make a quick shop easy even when it's busy. Reviewers point to the bakery's fresh breads and pastries and to basics like eggs, milk, and coffee for cooking your own meals. Central, near the park; labels and staff are mostly in Spanish, so a little Spanish helps.

It is a decent store, a good place to pick up a cold drink on a hot day.
Large location. One of the larger grocery stores we found during our 2 week trip in Costa Rica. Well-lit with wide aisles make it easy to go through and get your shopping done quickly, even with a crowd. The location is right downtown, near a park, and easy to access. We had to drive over from the AirBnB, but on street parking within a few blocks was readily found. The bakery shelves had some wonderful freshly made breads and pastries. We were able to get some basics such as eggs, milk, and coffee along with some produce at reasonable prices, so we could cook some of our own meals during our vacation. Staff was helpful but spoke very little English, so having a little Spanish in your repertoire will be helpful. Many of the labels were in Spanish, so being able to read Spanish will also serve you well.
Well assorted, expensive.
