We stayed here to do the Corcovado overnight tour and needed somewhere to leave our vehicle and stuff. The room had AC and refrigerator, staff was nice, location is great right at the pier, and the restaurants around were good. Also the beach is right there. It was $350 for 4 nights at the time, I think it's a great value.
This beachfront hotel is a hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, the owners made me feel genuinely welcome—warm, kind, and effortlessly hospitable. The setting is breathtaking: open-concept spaces overlooking the mangroves and river, with the sound of the ocean in the background. Every meal was incredible—fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The chef even created a special vegetarian lunch that was one of the best meals I’ve had in Costa Rica. Everything about this place—its people, food, and atmosphere—radiates care and authenticity. A truly unforgettable stay.
Location is good if you head to the pier early in the morning. Otherwise you might look for sth else, as the place was a bit flithy.
