A guest house on a garden property about a 20-minute walk from central Puerto Jiménez, near beaches, restaurants, a large grocery store and banks. Reviewers linger on the details: the screened-in open-air kitchen, the handmade stone shower, hammocks strung among fruit trees and flowers, air conditioning in the bedroom and fans throughout. Hosts Janina and Josh are consistently described as friendly and responsive, with sweet dogs on the property. Remote workers report the Wi-Fi held up through two-week stays, and one birder counted over 110 species on their street alone. Several guests say they started planning a return trip before leaving.

Really great space with wonderful responsive hosts. I loved the screened in kitchen. Comfortable bed with excellent sheets. Nice big shower. We very much appreciated the A/C in the bedroom and fans throughout the house and on the deck.
To say Casa Del Bambu is beautiful feels like an understatement. We stayed for several days and are already planning our next trip back. The property itself is gorgeous and surrounded by fruit trees and flowers that fill the air with a beautiful smell! The house is a gorgeous open style house with an open air kitchen and a hand made stone shower (a great way to end off a day of exploring). Enjoy the incredible nature surrounding the property or relax in one of the several hammocks. One of my favourite things to do at the end of the day was to lie in the hammock and take in all of the amazing sounds and smells. The property is only about a 20min walk into town and is close to a number of beaches, bars and restaurants as well as a large grocery store and a couple of banks. If you are looking for a slice of paradise, this is definitely the place for you!
Casa Del Bambu is amazing! The house is brand new and beautiful (especially the stone shower!), and the owners are super friendly. It's walking distance to the center of Puerto Jimenez. My husband and I had a great time relaxing here after 3 days in Corcovado National Park. I definitely recommend it!
