Casa Surá

A lovely, clean, and comfortable place to rest. The location is great, right in town and walkable to the beach, grocery stores, and restaurants, and pretty much anything else you might need or want. There was air conditioning, potable water, hot water in the shower, safety features, and a beautifully stocked and clean kitchen and bathroom. The host was very welcoming and communicative! It was a bit tough to find with no signage (the host had to flag me down) and there was no working wifi (but I think that was the case in the whole town at the time). I was alone in the shared bunkroom but had others been there I think lockers would be a nice addition as well!

Sura is definitely one of the best host I ever had. She welcomed us super well, we a giant clean room situated in the center of Puerto Jiménez. She also told us what to do the next day and how to go without being ripped off by tour guides. She was amazing and the place as well, and we couldn't recommend it more. Please, do also visit the small Soda right next to the house. Amazing food for a super cheap price 🙌🐋

Sura is very helpful, positive, open person. She advise what to see and how to get to some places. The room was very clean, with a very well equipped kitchen inside. We could prepare the meals by ourselves and keep our food in the fridge. Hot water available. We also could wash our clothes in the washing machine there! The drinking water available also. The birds are singing outside. I could sleep very tight there! Highly recommended.
