The poolside bar and grill at Botanika resort, on the southeast side of the Puerto Jiménez airstrip, open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Reviewers love being able to walk straight from the pool to the bar and back, and the staff will bring food and drinks to your cabana or wherever you've settled in the pool area. The burger and the cocktails both get specific praise, and staff are described as very helpful. Know that prices run high and are listed in US dollars, and it can get noisy at busy times — one visitor suggests coming during off-peak hours for a calmer sit. Takes reservations; good for kids and groups.

Loved the ability to walk from the pool to the bar! Was able to order my drink and walk right back into the pool. The staff will also bring your food and drinks to you at the cabana or other area you are at in the pool area. The burger in the photo was delicious! Delicious cocktails too!
tasty food & cocktails. staff super helpful. both food & drinks are pricey and in usd. it gets kind of noisy so if you are looking for a nice chill spot would recommend going during the non popular hours
