About
A budget hotel and restaurant on the main commerce street in Puerto Jiménez, with a front desk open around the clock. Guests describe simple rooms with air conditioning, TV, and comfortable beds, plus a balcony for sitting out — balanced against cold showers and maintenance quirks, so set expectations at basic-cabina level. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly and easygoing; one guest who missed breakfast twice was offered a simple dinner instead. On the restaurant side, reviewers mention good pizza, nachos, and ice-cold beer, and one praises custom cooking for vegetarians, though food experiences vary widely and one diner reported being told cards were accepted when only cash was. Reviewers also note the hotel and restaurant have different owners despite the shared name.

Ridiculously good restaurant - easily the best in town. Especially good for vegetarians / vegans - the chef will make custom food for you. The hotel of the same name has a different owner, but unfortunately, the Google reviews are linked - the hotel seems to have terrible reviews.
Room was pretty clean, bathroom was okay. No hot showers and the shower head was missing. Nice to have A/C, TV and comfy beds! During the night it started to smell like a sewage treatment plant, was really disgusting. Anyway, friendly reception & nice to sit on the balcony. Okay value for price.
This is one of the cheaper places in the area, and you're going to know it. Lots of little bits in the room were not ideal... shower water not heating, sink not working properly, etc. It was workable, you're in the Osa, you've got to be flexible. Cold A/C and very helpful staff made up for it. We missed breakfast twice and the owner let us get a basic dinner instead, which was much appreciated. Very easygoing folks there.
