About
An Italian restaurant right in the middle of downtown Puerto Jiménez that reviewers — including one raised on Calabrian grandmothers' cooking — vouch for as the real thing, starting with the dough. Pasta carbonara, marinara, alfredo, caprese, and margherita pizza all get named as favorites, and the kitchen willingly adapts dishes for vegetarian and gluten-free diners; one coeliac guest had a pasta modified and loved it. Portions are generous, service and atmosphere draw steady praise, and prices are called fair for the Osa. Open daily for lunch and dinner, with takeout, delivery, reservations, and outdoor seating.

Such a wonderful experience! My pasta carbonara (see photo) was delicious!! The drinks were great, the service was great and the atmosphere was beautiful. It’s right in the middle of “downtown” as well.
Just after a bumpy buckety showery run from Carate we endulged ourselves in this surprisingly TRUE Italian place. Dough is the real deal and I am grandson to two calabrase grammas so I can tell a bit. No brainer for a fair tico price which stings more than back in Italy or Spain, f.ex. but Osa is just like that. But in PJimenez, sure go.
Fabulous restaurant that caters to dietary requirements - vegetarian and coeliac (gluten free) One of the best pizzas I have ever had! Great service and atmosphere. My partner who is coeliac ordered a pasta which was modified to be gluten free and he really enjoyed it.
