Elías was a most wonderful and gracious guide. He is very knowledgeable and fun. He was very easy to work with and accommodating in every way. I felt so safe and trusting with him as if he was family. I would very highly recommend this place for a tour.
We did the 2 day boat in / boat out tour from Puerto Jimenez. Jaguar Corcovado took care of organising the tickets for the park, the night at Sirena and the boat ride. We needed to do two payments, one in advance via PayPal for the various tickets and the other in cash the day before for Jaguar tours themselves. It would have been nice to have some other options, such as a single payment by credit card, but the tour certainly made up for the slight inconveniences. Ronald is a great guide with a lot of experience and impressively good at spotting the animals there. Additionally he can provide a lot of background information on the flora and fauna of Corcovado. He will also personalize the tour for you if you came to see something in particular. Although there is never a guarantee to spot a specific animal on a given tour, he managed to spot a Tamandua for us, which we highly appreciated. Can highly recommend booking them.
These guys are great at what they do! I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. They can spot animals we would have never seen. Incredibly knowledgable and experienced, answered any questions we had. We saw 2 kinds of toucans, macaws, many hawks, vultures, spider monkeys, howler monkeys, even a cute squirrel monkey! We saw an incredible waterfall and beautiful beaches. What a day!
