About
An open-air, super-casual seafood spot on the boulevard in Puerto Jiménez, popular with locals and travelers alike, with ocean views from the tables. Reviewers keep coming back to the portions — enormous. The "everything" ceviche piles in fish, shrimp, mussels, octopus and squid; the seafood pasta comes loaded with mussels, clams, shrimp and calamari (one diner called it the best-cooked calamari they'd ever had); the whole fried red snapper and head-on shrimp kabobs also get praise. A few find it a little pricey for what it is, and one regular says skip the sushi. Takes credit cards, does takeout and delivery, and opens daily from 10 in the morning until 10 at night.

We stopped at Marisqueria Corcovado for lunch on our first day in town and we were not disappointed. Don’t let the open air bar vibe fool you this was amazing. We were hungry and ordered appetizers and two mains. We didn’t expect the mammoth portions of fresh seafood. My wife ordered shrimp kabobs that came with massive shrimp with heads still on and assorted steamed vegetables. I ordered a seafood pasta dish. It came with mussels, clams, shrimp and calamari with pasta in red sauce. I think it his was the best cooked calamari I’ve EVER had. Super casual place that was frequented by locals and tourists. FYI - They take credit cards. Overall a wonderful lunch-dinner I would highly recommend.
Our group got shrimp scampi, chicken pasta, and the whole fried red snapper. Everyone enjoyed their food. The goal was for 4 people in our group to get the fish...I took a couple of bites and it was really good!
Nice restaurant. Good location with ocean views. The initial server/host did not seem to interested in helping us but the owner/manager stepped up and gave us very good service which we appreciated. I got their "everything" ceviche which had fish, shrimp, mussels, octopus, oyster, and I believe squid. The ceviche was very good. My wife got a chicken fajita and it was good. They are a little pricey but all things considered I would recommend it or go back myself.
