A small Puerto Jiménez tour outfit best known for kayak trips through the mangroves and out on the gulf — sunrise paddles, sunset outings, and after-dark bioluminescence tours where you can swim among the glowing algae. Guide Enuk is praised by name in review after review for his knowledge of the mangrove ecosystem and indigenous practices, his wildlife spotting — macaws, monkeys, crocodiles, dolphins right beside the kayaks — and his genuine care; guide Diego draws the same warmth. Fresh pineapple, watermelon or hot coffee mid-tour is a recurring touch. Reviewers call it among the cheapest tours in town and advise booking the bioluminescence trip around a moonless sky — check moonrise times first. Closed Sunday.

The Osa Dream Tour Kayaking in Puerto Jimenez is a must. And having Anuk as your guide is a huge bonus. We felt very safe under his expert care and were able to see all the wildlife— Macaws, crocodiles, crabs, a lesson on the history and protection of the mangroves, and chasing dolphins in the ocean! Our family of eight had the adventure of a lifetime and recommend this tour, with Anuk of course, for everyone seeking nature and fun! Anuk was full of fun facts and attentive to our needs and interests. The pineapple and watermelon treat during our swim break was an added bonus and nice touch! We will be back!
We took a kayak trip around sunset to spot dolphins and see the bioluminescent algae with our 6 yo daughter. Our Guide Diego make the trip an amazing experience. He was professional, kind, fun, and, importantly, he knew where nature's gold was. We saw dolphins right next to our kayak, experienced the most magical sunset, swam in the algae, all the while - or daughter was safe, relaxed and had a marvelous time. Diego isn't only a great guide, he is genuinely a great human, and I recommend taking any trip with him. 🙏
We did a tour with the guide Enuk and it was great. We kayaked through the mangroves, saw an amazing sunset and afterwards kayaked to a spot to wait for the evening to become completely dark. The bioluminisence was amazing - whoever is near Puerto Jimenez should do it as this is a once in a lifetime experience and you should do it with the guide Enuk. By the way it is the cheapest tour in Puerto Jimenez. Just be sure that when you do the bioluminisence tour, the moon should not be shining so the best is you google the moon rise and moon set and then decide if you do the tour very early in the morning or in the evening.
