Had a really lovely stay at Osa surf hostal, the hosts really accommodated me as a solo femme traveler which was very nice. They were attentive to my questions and gave recommendations for what to explore in the region which I appreciated. I opted for the private accommodation & really enjoyed my stay, which was made even better by their little one who was fun to play w when i was in the hostal! The location is in a more residential area, close to the airport and a short 10 min walk to the center of town. Thanks to the team, I had a great few days in Jiménez :-)

I arrived at the accommodation but no one was there, so I contacted WhatsApp, but there was still no response. After waiting for almost an hour, I got tired and went to another accommodation. Of course, there may be situations where I can't be reached. I received a reply 1 hour and 50 minutes after sending the initial message. They said they were driving. Got it. However, in this situation, I think it's appropriate to start the conversation with an apology. I hope you can understand how frustrating it is to wait for an hour with heavy luggage in hot weather. During the subsequent exchange of messages, that person never apologized. Please keep that in mind, as this might be just one instance of mine.
