Punta Preciosa

Words can’t explain how amazing our stay was. Or how beautiful this place is. We spent all 7 of our days here and loved every minute of it! We were so close to nature, at times it felt like we were camping. But had the luxury of comfy beds and fans. There were no problems with bugs or pests in our living quarters and the open area floors were swept daily. We were provided a 5 gallon water bottle and then it’s up to guests to trade it in at the grocery store. Very convenient. Any questions we had for the hosts were answered quickly and they were so helpful in planning activities. Privacy was not an issue ever. Any time we saw our hosts, I enjoyed our chats and practicing my Spanish! Over the course of the week, we met 3 hosts. Elfer, Pascal and Manuel. All were so kind. Manuel’s knowledge of animals and passion for wildlife and Mother Earth was palatable.🌍 We LOVED having the beach right across the street and it was sooooooooo private. Our planned/paid for Excursions Included: Boat ride and snorkeling Fishing Trip Night Hike Corcovado Park Tour We didn’t have time to do it all, but I would highly recommend going into Corcovado National Park and the night tour. It is when we saw the most wildlife. My family REALLY loved the fishing trip! We ate fresh tuna for 2 days!!! We arrived with no plans or agenda and it wasn’t an issue for us to make plans when we got there. I regret not getting into kayaking or horseback riding, but there’s only so much time. The heat was definitely an adjustment the week we were there. I was completely okay with it as part of the experience, but I know my kids and hubby were wishing they had AC at times. It did not affect us in any way, just be aware of your traveling companions and their comfort levels. People can be such complainers and this place is too beautiful to be around that! I have been home 2 weeks and all I can think is “when can I back?!” ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 💗

I stayed at this place for 3 nights, and it was such a pleasure to go there. The owners are super kind and welcoming! The house is 20 meters from the beach with an incredible view on the Golfo Dulce. I rented a kayak to go around the mangroves, which are just behind the house. Great place, I recommend for sure!

Our group of four rented the whole house. We had lots of space and a very private beach. There is a house attendant and a house keeper that are there regularly if you should need anything. It is open air with screened in bedrooms and we did not have any issues with bugs in the bedrooms. The view is beautiful, the property is beautiful, the people were all very kind/helpful. And there is even a cute house dog named Dax who we absolutely LOVED! I would absolutely recommend this place for groups of any size! (Booking a single room would also have been easy and comfortable). We saw TONS of wildlife (macaws, toucans, capuchins, jaguarundi) and enjoyed the small trails around the area. Special shout out to Sandro the house keeper who was very helpful and even treated us to pipas frias and fresh eggs from the chicken coop :)
