About
A small local restaurant tucked behind the hardware store in Puerto Jiménez, easy to miss from the road. Fans describe very fresh basics — rice, beans, chicken, beef — at low prices, and one family reported their kids asking to come straight back for lunch. The fried chicken wings with honey mustard get a specific shout-out, while one reviewer found the beef burgers disappointing and suggested sticking to chicken. English is limited, so a reviewer advises ordering straight off the menu rather than customizing. There is a foosball table, cards, and Jenga to pass the wait, and outdoor seating. Service reports are mixed, from fast and awesome to slow on a short-staffed Sunday.

When your wife and kids are all saying wow this is so good, why don’t restaurants cook like this at home, this is the best food we have had, I ate every last bit of that then you know it is good. The service was awesome and fast. The family was asking if we can come back here for lunch. The prices were around $7-$10 per person.
Great food. However,,, NO ENGLISH. usually we don't have issue dining at restaurants that don't speak the common language, but we had few issue at this place. Mainly for ordering for my vegetarian wife. That being said, the people working at restaurant made sure that they fix any issues and ended up serving great food. I would recommend this place. Only word of caution is to order directly off of the menu card. If you try modifying, you may get served something very different.
Unfortunately the beef burgers were really quite bad. The beef patties had a strange gamey, salty and processed taste which was unpleasant enough such that I couldn’t finish more than half my burger. That’s a big deal for me because I love burgers, and this was worse than a fast food burger. We did have the fried chicken wings with honey mustard dip which were very good though. Maybe stick to their chicken dishes. Service was ok and the atmosphere was good with a fun foosball table, cards and Jenga to use while waiting for your food.
