A classic soda beside the CTP school in Puerto Jiménez, serving local plates from 6 a.m. — a real advantage if you're catching an early Sansa flight or heading out to Corcovado, and one reviewer flatly calls it the best breakfast in town. Regulars recommend the casados (the kitchen happily made a vegan one), the carne empanadas, and a milkshake on the side. The setting is simple and can look a little rough, and there may be a wait, but the cooking gets consistent praise. Open daily until 6 p.m., closing at 1 p.m. on Sundays, with outdoor seating, takeout, and parking.

Very nice local food, the staff was nice and had no problem making a vegan casado.
Hands down best in town for breakfast. Plus, they are open early, which is a bonus if you're flying out on Sansa early or traveling to your next adventure. Don't pass up trying an excellent breakfast from them.
Good carne empanadas. Had a rice dish that was good too. It's a bit of a wait and the place is kind of rough looking but the food was good.
