A small, authentic soda in Puerto Jiménez that reviewers praise for freshly prepared, hearty food at prices they found a bit cheaper than elsewhere in Costa Rica. Burritos come up specifically — beef, or vegetarian on request — and vegetarian options in general are available if you ask. The menu is Spanish-only but easy enough to work out, and there's covered outdoor seating on a fairly quiet street. Service gets consistent praise for friendliness. Open from 6 a.m. most days, with parking available and a setup that works for kids and groups.

Small but excellent 😄 We had burritos (one with beef and one vegetarian upon request). The food was freshly prepared and the service was very friendly.
A very authentic soda at fair prices (a bit cheaper than in other parts of Costa Rica). Friendly service. The menu is only in Spanish, but understandable. You can sit outside (under a cover) on a fairly quiet street. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
