About
A modest, easily overlooked soda in Puerto Jiménez that reviewers recommend precisely for its authentic local cooking at low prices. Breakfast gallo pinto with bistec, chicken casados, and a big plate of veggie nachos all get named, and vegans report being fed well too. The drinks are half the fun: homemade lemonade, watermelon refrescos, and a pineapple-and-rice drink one visitor found intriguing. Fans on the ceiling are, in one reviewer's words, a lifesaver in the heat, though there is usually a TV going. Service is quick and the owner friendly. Open from six in the morning; closed Sundays.

great place to eat!! plus they have fans in there which are a lifesaver i had the veggie nachos which come in a massive portion & definitely recommend also the smoothies are lush and perfect for the hot weather
They did a great plate of vegan food for lunch. To pay 3500 colones per person stings, but everything is inflated in this town. Good if you don’t mind having the tv on while eating. But we think that TVs in restaurants are the most irritating things!
A modest and easily overlooked spot, perfect for those seeking an authentic local dining experience. If that's not what you're after, you might want to look elsewhere. The food here was excellent, complemented by delightful homemade lemonade that was safe to consume.
