About
A classic soda in Puerto Jiménez serving inexpensive Tico plates from six in the morning until evening. Reviewers rave about the fish casado, the chuleta, and fresh drinks — passionfruit juice, horchata included with the meal, and proper Tico coffee with a home-cooked empanada. Service is quick and the staff friendly. One practical note from a diner: they don't sell beer, but nobody minded when they bought cans next door to drink with lunch. Takeout, outdoor seating, and parking available; closes early on Sundays.

Friendly staff. We both had Casados with fish, delicious simple food. Unfortunately they don't sell beer, but it was ok to buy cans nextdoor and drink them with our meals.
Prices were super okay, the chuleta meat (from casado) was insane and the horchata was good and included in the price
Great local food. Super quick service. We got the fish Casados and fresh passionfruit juice (recommend both)
